A Huge day in recruiting!!!!
2 players have switched their Letter of Intents and will be transferring to Tech!!!
5 mother fucking star D-LinemanDelvon Simmons Had signed with North Carolina, But was granted release after the coach who recruited him left the school. He is now coming to Tech, and will be eligible to play in the fall!
Javarez McRoy is believed to be headed to Texas Tech where he originally committed out of high school, but switched his commitment to Florida and former head coach Urban Meyer last summer. He would be joining his brother Ben McRoy at Texas Tech who is in his second year at the school and is a running back for the Red Raiders.
The Gators were able to keep his commitment and sign the speed merchant from powerhouse Lakeland High School despite the coaching change.
McRoy was a star in the last two Friday Night lights camps at the university of Florida. The camp is held in July and showcases some of the top talent in America. McRoy was arguably the best receiver at the 2010 Friday night lights.
The loss of McRoy (5-9, 180) drops an already smaller 2011 recruiting class of 19 to 18 and he was one of only two receivers in the class. However, the Gators are relatively young at receiver with only one senior in Deonte Thompson and 10 remaining scholarship players.
