I wasnt worried, was just frustrated that i couldnt get confirmation on his correct email. Hes in now so just drop it every one.

I've been kicking around the idea of a fantasy trophy. Anybody have any ideas? It needs to be able to display winners each year.

That would be pretty sweet!

Agreed, there needs to be a written record of past champions.

Now then, we can go a couple directions with this. One involves an actual engraving that would require the champion getting his/her own name engraved on the trophy each year (you can do this at a trophy or probably even some jewelery stores). Something like this can be bought online as an extraction from league dues:



Perhaps the more practical alternative, we just go with something we can write on with a sharpie. It will be messy and less cool, but there is a better chance of it being kept up with and it is still more than we have now. If we were to go this route we can go with something off the wall or something football related (football/helmet or some sort of beer mug would be easy)

Suggestions so for off the wall:
- Fleshlight
- Dildo mounted on 12" x 12"
- Toilet Seat

So I was checking out the scoring system for the this up coming season and saw that QB's get a bonus for 300+ and 400+ yards while WR's and RB's only get a bonus at 200+ yards. I think that the addition of 100+ yard bonus for WR's and RB's is in order. My reasoning is that the top 5 WR's only had 2 200+ yard games and one was in over time. As for 200+ rushing games there was only one between the top 5 RB's. While the top 5 QB's had 30 300+ yard games and 4 400+ yard games. With the current bonuses I feel that the QB position is going to be highly favored makeing the top 5 QB's untouchable by the top 5 RB's or WR's. Just food for thought


Also If possible can we change the draft to Monday or Thursday night I work Tuesday and Wednesday nights and it is damn near impossible to find a sub with school starting up.

Thursday would work better for me, but Monday will work.

and 30 qbs threw for 300 or more.

Lets do 200+ and a 150+ for WR.

It makes GREAT receivers just has valuable as GREAT QB's.

I dont really understand your post, but if you support vince's view why did you then change WRsbonus schedule to 150 instead of 100?

I think there are a couple ways to approach this.

1. Implement the 100yd bonus for both WR/RB, which we have done each previous yea. I think it has worked well.

2. Make passing TDs worth only 4 pts instead of 6. Give an additional 2 PTs for every rushing TD 50+ yards. Give every receiving TD +1 PTs for every receiving 50+ yard TD. (only one because already more common and they get a +1 per reception already.

Also, if we are going to draft on a weekday, the closer to 5pm the better so I can draft at the office. I'm otherwise pretty worried about my ability to sustain an Internet connection at my apt.

Is sunday an option?

It's going to be a holiday weekend. . Good chance at least one person will be traveling over the weekend. Hence how we settled on Tuesday.

If vince can't do Tuesday/Wednesday of next week we are left with five days as option (including tomorrow), some of which have already been spoken against.

In my opinion it would even the field to have the 100 yard bonus and 200 yard bonus for both WR's and RB's.

Also If we can't agree on another Draft time there is no way I am paying 50 bucks for a best available team and therefore would probably withdrawal from the league.

I agree with the bonus suggestion.

To the scheduling, people are going to be willing to work with you, but you are going to have to do Some leg work and get in touch with everyone, because not everyone utilizes this site regularly, and figure out a draft time quickly.

I can't draft on thursday because I have class till ten. As far as points go I can change them, as I stated before this is a league for everyones input.

For the draft I get back from Lubbock on Sunday so I can draft Sunday or Monday.
